The Manchester Bee Company

I started The Manchester Bee Company after working with a designer called Sharon Parker in the States to make some unique wedding invitations for November 2013.

This proud Mancunian and my OH were hitched at Manchester Town Hall-the whole wedding was about the city of Manchester-from the food to the music in the venue in the Northern Quarter.

Initially and with Sharon's kind permission I used her Bee illustration on a short run of printed mugs and tea towels that I sold at small fairs and on Etsy.

Later, my daughter who was doing a Graphic Design and Illustration degree did a new Bee illustration and it felt right to use her Bee instead-more of a Manc family thing going on.

Since then, the ManBeeCo range has grown and now has 4 designs of sturdy ceramic mugs, that are perfect for a proper Northern brew.

I make framed prints with the Bee and featuring the Manchester List in different sizes and colours. There is a card range including postcards taken from my photographs of details taken from around the city of Manchester that you may have never noticed before.

There's always something new on my regular stall on Castlefield Market based inside Upper Campfield in Manchester which is on the 1st Saturday of each month from 10am to 5pm.
