Manchester Worker Bee enamel badges

These little pieces of enamel bee perfection have been keeping me very busy. They measure about 14 mm x 11 mm and have been a hit with Mancunians and also the football crowd it seems.
I've sold out a few times and the amount of emails asking what date they will be back in stock again is remarkable!

Find them here :ManBeeCo

The bee badges have a "butterfly" push in back to keep them pinned securely.

Find them on Etsy here

I'm the most hated woman in the local Post Office I'm sure with a big bag of parcels to be shipped out around the world most week days!

The wonderful People's History Museum on Left Bank, Spinningfields are currently the only stockists of this item in central Manchester along with the ManBeeCo Worker Bee mugs, cards and bags- and it's a great(free)place to visit when in town.

BeeHQ

Been busy here doing up BeeHQ and working on new designs.

The new work room is light and airy and so organised now and it's also so much better for taking clear product shots for the ManBeeCo website.

Fresh paint job

This not so little pile of cards was to replenish my stockists after the Christmas rush with a few amendments and additions:

The ManBeeCo Bee Mine Valentine card - ditching the traditional red and sticking with Mustard and Grey instead, it would also make a great wedding card.

The New Home cards got a revamp on bright Orange and Teal recycled card.

ManBeeCo will be at Castlefield Market this weekend Friday 5th to Sunday 7th December from 10am to 8pm. It's #SmallBizSat in the UK on Saturday 6th December 2014.

The market is inside Upper Campfield Hall -a beautiful old Victorian building on the corner of Deansgate and Liverpool Road.

There will be all the ManBeeCo gear available on my stall including some limited edition stock such as  Christmas baubles that are now called "Beebles". Bee + Bauble = Beebles.

Tiny box frames in Bee / Manucunian / Manchester in different colours are perfect for the shelf or mantle and at only £7 are perfect as a Secret Santa or Christmas gift.

Castlefield Market #OffTheHighStXmasMkt Manchester

I'm going to share a hidden gem with you...an Indoor Christmas Market in the heart of Manchester with an urban vibe-well away from the jostle and overpriced/repeated cheap tat usually experienced at Christmas markets here in our city.

Sound like more your kind of thing? Well read on...

ManBeeCo has been a regular stall holder at Castlefield Market in Manchester this year and was delighted to be invited to be a trader there at the #OffTheHighStXmasMkt for the Christmas Market season.

This busy monthly market is housed indoors inside the beautiful old Upper Campfield building on the corner of Deansgate & Liverpool Road in Manchester.

The Castlefield Market / Upper Campfield entrance shares an old Victorian Arcade with Instituto Cervantes, Dimitris and Don Marco restaurants on the corner of Deansgate / Liverpool Road  in Manchester, opposite the Beetham Tower.

The beautiful old facade on Liverpool Road
Just up the road from the Museum of Science & Industry and a 2 minute walk from the Deansgate Metrolink stop

The building springs to life on the 1st Saturday of each month with a wonderfully eclectic mix of local Makers and Traders with everything from vintage treasure, vinyl and collectables stalls to jewellery, cakes, craft, furniture & homewares, fresh produce, hot food stalls and ManBeeCo (of course!)

The Black Cat Cafe

Upper Campfield Hall

Castlefield Market

Then there's The Black Cat Cafe,a bar with DJ's and live music adding to the vibrant atmosphere. Each month there is always something different going on there and the stallholders are so friendly-it all adds up to great fun and a friendly Mancunian atmosphere.

#OffTheHighStXmasMkt started on Friday 28th November and runs each Friday,Saturday and Sunday until Sunday 21st December.

The Market trading hours are:  Friday 10am to 8pm
                               Saturday 10am to 8pm
                               Sunday 10am to 6pm

#OffTheHighStXmasMkt hosts great local Makers and Traders indoors along with  the FaraKhan TeaRoom serving Afternoon Teas.

Find the ManBeeco stall here each weekend -I showcase the superb work of city photographer @paul_grogan on my stall too.

Traders include @thatsamorebyfab with their authentic Sicilian food that always draws a big crowd, gourmet or boozy marshmallows from @squidgemallows, amazing cakes from @FairyPopInCake and local lass Jennie McAlpine aka Fizz from Coronation Street brings @Annies_Teashop to the market.

Great crowd at the 1st #OffTheHighStXmasMkt weekend market
More traders include @anorthernlight1 with beautiful lampshades and lights, @magpiesdaughter with vintage inspired jewellery, local photographer @whhardingphoto brings his prints of Manchester and Salford and @littlekitscha brings her stylish vintage treasure to delve through.

The Upper Campfield doors stay wide open after trading ends at 8pm, with Craft Beer by Salford lads Seven Bro7hers still flowing and continues till late with DJ's such as Jamie El Muerto playing. It reminds me of when the original Friday Food Fight was here earlier in the year and there is no entry fee.

The calm before the storm...

A bunch of hot food stalls serve up a great mix of street food including Wrapscallion and the Fabulous Burger Boys who grill to please, serving massive burgers and Dirty Dogs.(Find them on Twitter: @SEVENBRO7HERS and @FabBurgerBoys)

SevenBro7hers do bottled beer in giftpacks to take away too!
